Dortmund, July 2017 – As featured in the Electronic Journal, "Why a new sensor design is necessary – requirements for pressure sensors", has been honored by publishing house Hüthig, Heidelberg/Germany, as “Article of the Month”. The article was published in May 2017.
Matthias Hofmann, Verlagsvertretung Hüthig, issued the award to Jörg Schiffer, Director of Sales EMEA. Schiffer received the honor in deputy for Dr. Justin Gaynor, Program Management Officer, author of the article. The criteria of the award was based on the high number of online visits to the article accessed through the all-electronics.de website.
"We are very pleased with the award. It shows, the high interest of the industry in the further development of MEMS pressure sensors. The article also demonstrates the competence of SMI as a manufacturer of robust and ultra-small sensors for applications in the automotive and industrial sector" says Schiffer.
